Download and install PC Decrapifier
This allows you to select old and outdated software or even trial and junkware that is installed by the maker. They are paid for every sale so the amount of junk pre-installed grows every year.

CleanUp from Steven R. Gould

This is an excellent utility which works on XP and Later versions of Windows. It will clear cookies, temp files, cache files and assorted junk files that can slow your machine. It is free but I have had some brilliant results from it and so have donated several times. Some machines that have never been cleaned have up to 5GB of junk clogging up smaller, older hard drives.

Run a Security check
Install Malwarebytes and run an update. Then allow Malwarebytes to scan the system and remove any alerts presented.

Install Updates
Using Microsoft update check for updated drivers for your system.

Defrag your hard drive
Download and install Auslogics Disk Defrag and allow the program to perform a defragmentation to speed up your files.
